2019年9月3日、オーストラリア図書館協会（ALIA）とブルーシールドオーストラリア（BSA）は“ALIA Disaster Management for Libraries Guides”3点の更新を発表しました。
現在、同国が、乾燥・少雨等の気候により火災が発生する危険性が高まっていること受けてのもので、各館での防災プラン策定を支援することが目的です。
